Campsites
Camp Daniel Boone features 21 different campsites, with two main varieties, Tent sites, which have tent platforms and Mixed sites, which have both tent platforms and Cabins/Adirondacks.
All campsites are pictured in their Summer Camp Configuration with Wall Tents up. Wall tents are not available for use outside of Summer Camp.
All campsites have a flagpole, and at least one campfire pit.
All Campsite and Facility Rentals are completed through our camp management system. You will use the account you already have set up for summer camp or if you have not set up an account yet, click “MyCouncil Login” to complete that step.

Arrowhead
Arrowhead Campsite
Close to Boonesboro Village and with incredible views of Cold Mountain, Arrowhead campsite also has two permanent pavilions, and showerhouse located in the middle of the site.
As a mixed facility site, Arrowhead has 18 tent platforms and 21 cabins spread across 5 tiers, three above and two below the showerhouse.
Total Summer camp site capacity is 120 campers.
Apache
Apache Campsite
Apache campsite is next to Green Showers and well shaded, and the Big Branch Stream runs nearby.
As a mixed facility site, Apache has 6 tent platforms and 4 cabins, along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 28 campers.
Blackfoot
Blackfoot Campsite
Blackfoot is a short walk from both the Brown and the Green Showers, and well shaded. The Big Branch Stream runs next to the site, and there is a place to set up a troop shelter.
As a mixed facility site, Blackfoot has 6 tent platforms and 5 cabins.
Total Summer camp capacity is 28 campers.
Catawba
Catawba Campsite
Catawba is located at the end of River Road next to the Little East Fork and the trailhead of the Little East Fork Trail, which leads off into the shinning rock wilderness. It is a well shaded site with a flat walk between it and main camp.
As a mixed facility site, Catawba has 6 tent platforms and 7 cabins, along with a place to set up a troop shelter.
Cherokee
Cherokee Campsite
Directly across the road from Scoutcraft, Cherokee is the closest campsite to main camp. It is also on a short walk from Brown showers.
As a mixed facility site, Cherokee has 6 tent platforms and 6 cabins, along with a place to set up a troop shelter, and two campfire pits.
Chickasaw
Chickasaw Campsite
Directly across the road from the Little East Fork, Chickasaw is the closest River Road site to main camp. It has two subsites – Main Chickasaw, and the Annex, both of which have their own distinct space, while being able to be used as one by larger units.
As a tent-only site, Chickasaw has 32 tent platforms, along with two places to set up troop shelters and a couple of firepits.
Chickawanee
Chickawanee Campsite
Chickawanee is located directly across the road from Brown Showers and a short walk from main Camp.
As a mixed facility site, Chickawanee has 16 tent platforms and 3 open-faced Adirondacks .
Chippewa
Chippewa Campsite
Chippewa is located net to Brown Showers, and a short walk from main camp.
As a mixed facility site, Chippewa has 9 tent platforms and 4 open faced Adirondacks, along with a permanent shelter, and a grill next to the firepit.
Creek
Creek Campsite
Located near the middle of River Road and across it from the Little East Fork.
As an all tent site, Creek has 16 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter.
Total summer camp site capacity is 32 people.
Croatan
Croatan Campsite
Croatan is located near the end of River Road and the trailhead of the Little East Fork Trail, which leads off into the shinning rock wilderness. It is next to next to the Little East Fork River as well, with a flat walk between it and main camp.
As a mixed facility site, Catawba has 25 tent platforms and 1 cabins, along with a place to set up a troop shelter.
Iroquois
Iroquois Campsite
Iroquois is located directly across the road from the Little East Fork. It is arranged in three pods, all of which have their own distinct space and fire pit, while being able to be used as one site by larger units.
As a tent-only site, Iroquois has 34 tent platforms, along with two places to set up troop shelters.
Junaluska
Junaluska Campsite
Located a short walk from Scoutcraft, Brown Showers and Main Camp, Junaluska is our most recently renovated site.
A mixed facility site, Junaluska features 6 tent platforms, 6 cabins and a place to set up a troop shelter.
Total summer camp site capacity is 36 people.

Lumbee
Lumbee Campsite
Tuscarora campsite is next to Brown Showers and is a short walk to both the Scoutcraft Area and the dining hall.
The site is equipped with 9 Tent Platforms, and a permanent shelter in the campsite.
Total Summer camp site capacity is 18 people.
Mohican
Mohican Campsite
Mohican campsite is a short walk from Scoutcraft and also a short walk from Brown showers and Main Camp.
As an all tent site, Mohican has 23 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter, and several campfire pits.
Pasquotank
Pasquotank Campsite
Pasquotank Campsite located a near Green Showers.
An all-tent site, Pasquotank has 11 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 22 campers.
Powhatan
Powhatan Campsite
Powhatan campsite is across the street from the Little East Fork River, and the second closest River Road Site to main camp.
As a mixed facility site, Apache has 5 tent platforms and 4 cabins, along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 26 campers.
Seminole
Seminole Campsite
Seminole Campsite located a short walk from Green Showers.
An all-tent site, Seminole has 14 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 28 campers.
Sequoyah
Sequoyah Campsite
Sequoyah Campsite located across River Road from Croatan and Catawba Sites.
An all-tent site, Sequoyah has 29 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 58 campers.
Sioux
Sioux Campsite
Sioux campsite is a short walk from Green Showers and well shaded, and the Little East fork runs next to the site. As a River Road site, it has a mostly flat walk to main camp.
As a mixed facility site, Sioux has 4 tent platforms and 6 open faced Aidorondaks, along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 39 campers.
Tsali
Tsali Campsite
Tsali Campsite ocated across River Road from The Little East Fork, and a short walk from Green Showers.
An all-tent site, Tsali has 25 tent platforms along with a place to set up a troop shelter/dining fly.
Total Summer Camp Site Capacity is 50 campers.
Tuscorora
Tuscorora Campsite
Tuscarora campsite is next to the Scoutcraft area and a short walk to the dining hall and Brown Showers.
The site is equipped with 15 Tent Platforms, and a permanent shelter in the campsite.
Total Summer camp site capacity is 30 people.
